Sharon Watstein started The Family Doula as a result of her desire to help new moms and their families once they come home from the hospital.

She and her husband live in Sharon, Massachusetts. She is the mother of three and recently a grandmother of five. She previously owned and operated a preschool for 26 years and has since assisted families as a certified postpartum doula.

Sharon is certified in adult/infant CPR and First Aid and has her postpartum dual certification through Dona.org and CAPPA.net. She is also a Lactation Educator. Sharon is an active member of the International Association for Child Safety (IAFCS) and is trained to assist in childproofing your home for your newborn and toddler. .She specializes in the unique needs of families with twins and has been called by some of her families the ‘twins whisperer’.

Sharon serves as a doula in the following towns: Attleboro, Canton, Easton,
Foxboro, Franklin, Mansfield, Milton, Norfolk, Norwood, Plainville,  Sharon,
Stoughton, Walpole, Westwood and Wrentham.

Debra DeFeo-Gelman lives in Easton ma with her husband and 13  yr old triplets. Since January 2002 Deb has been an Active member and volunter with Keeping Pace With Multiple Miracles, a non profit support group for Multiple Birth Families. At Keeping Pace Deb teaches a variety of classes including a “Multiples Boot Camp” , “Just Mom and ME” , and co-moderates the monthly Support group SPRINT (Supporting our Parents with Resources and Ideas while Networking Together).

It is a strong passion of hers to help families of multiples and singletons navigate the early days of parenthood and self care for the moms and dads. It is this passion that led her to become a Postpartum Doula.

Deb is CPR/ first aid certified and is trained thru Cappa.

Deborah Chochrek, your postpartum doula on the South Shore of MA, has been assisting mothers and their families through postpartum with newborn care, household help and support since 2001.

Deborah is certified in adult/infant CPR and First Aid and her postpartum certification through Dona International. She is the mother of six grown children, grandmother of three including a set of twins and lives in Plymouth. She travels south to Cape Cod and the Islands as well as north to Boston and surrounding towns.

Deborah is experienced with twins and is proficient in overnight newborn care. She has been called the “baby whisperer”, and loves assisting families during the exciting time of welcoming their precious newborn(s).
